story board task

our first set task in class was to create a story board of still camera shots to give off a effect that an audience could follow along and understand the basic story line. we were shown a selection of techniques to ensure we gave a certain effect well. such as over the shoulder camera shot , to show conversation. low angle shot to look up at a character to show authority or power. and the opposite, a high angle looking down on a character to show vulnerability, weakness or a low status. we made a shot list and a basic story board showing a basic outline of certain shots and angles we will use and where the characters will be placed in the frame. we agreed on using an open space to base the scene and our equipment consisted of a ‘go pro’ camera to ensure good quality and a wide angle shot, a tripod so the image would be clear and straight. we took all the shots we decided on and then uploaded them to a computer to arrange and edit so the video would flow and show the story as clear as possible
